Apex Leaders cultivates impactful partnerships for private equity firms with CEOs and current industry leaders for sector thesis work, due diligence, portfolio performance and board of directorships placement. I wear a lot of hats at Apex Leaders, the largest of which is ensuring that Apex Leaders continues to utilize new technologies in the delivery of its services. I am responsible for keeping the company's systems running smoothly in multiple locations and working on ways to improve the company’s services through technology and processes.

As the volunteer leader of American Red Cross national youth programs, I advocate on behalf of 127,000 youth and young adult volunteers to diverse internal and external stakeholders; lead project development; and set the priorities and strategies for national youth involvement.

Facilitated the development of the American Red Cross FY10-12 strategy for engaging elementary school, middle school, high school, and college-age youth in mission-focused activities around the country. Established and coordinated the creation of the high school club guide which aims to build service capacity for the American Red Cross.

• Led lifeguard team which ensured safety of more than 2,400 children in the pool, streams or lakes over 3 years (summers only)• Conducted skills tests and emergency drills with other guards to ensure streamlined rescue techniques• Co-led multi-day backpacking trips with children 11-16 years old ensuring emotional, physical, and medical wellness • Addressed difficult situations including medical emergencies and inter-personnel conflicts
