Private practice

This groups took place every Thursday between 2pm-3pm, 79 Buckingham Road, Brighton. Anyone above the age of 16 who self harms or has self harmed was welcome to join this drop-in group. It was safe and supportive group facilitated by two experienced mental health professionals.

I provided counselling for women who experienced perinatal depression, or the loss of a baby.It was a difficult but important learning experience. I enjoyed working there very much.

I helped to set up free activities and classes for people with long term and enduring mental health problems.

I was one of the counsellors at this busy GP practice, working short term (12 weeks) with people presenting with a range of mental health and physical difficulties.

I was one of the student counsellor counsellors. One of the most rewarding professional experiences.
