My experience in public relations and marketing extends to a diverse group of industries including style and beauty, fashion, outdoor recreation, entertainment, author and book, non-profit, information technology, banking, financial planning, real estate, residential building, association management, freight, construction and worksite safety.

In this position I secured prominent communications-oriented speakers for monthly professional development luncheons. I was responsible for event planning and evaluation analysis to increase the organizations member and non-member participation.

My work with Garcia Express truly encompassed the entire marketing realm. From branding to media relations and from internal and external communication to business planning, this job had it all. There was always something new on the horizon and the work was extremely rewarding.

While at HMA, my responsibilities included client and media relations, strategic planning and implementation, promotional marketing and creating media materials.

My background also includes time spent in the field of broadcast media where I started out writing scripts and producing packages for KNXV ABC 15. At just 21 years old, I had an Emmy nomination under my belt and had gained a true understanding of how the media works, what they are looking for and how to work with them.
