NYK Business Systems America’s is the technical division of NYK Lines, a global transport and logistics provider headquartered in Tokyo Japan.At present, my role within this organization is the Infrastructure Group Manager providing leadership, management and direction, overseeing day-to-day Service Desk Management, Vendor Management, Project/Program Management, Cloud support & Life Cycle Management.My regional area of responsibility covers the America’s, Western Europe. Regional lead for the global Infrastructure organization. The focal of my responsibilities are primarily Managing the regional Service Desk and supporting Cloud Services (IaaS, SaaS, DaaS), Networking, hardware and application standardization, Incident, Problem and Change Management standardization. For Vitech’s clients, I managed all aspects of installation, migration, and upgrade projects, ensuring adherence to contract deliverables. Managed risk assessment, issue resolution and change management initiatives. Managed various vendors and their resources. As a member of the RFP team, I reviewed and recommend optimal solutions necessary for hardware and 3rd party software requirements for prospected clients. Upon award, provided project management for the install of the solution from a hardware and 3rd party software perspective before turning the environment over to the client product support team.

SCP was a holding company with 3 publishing divisions and a CRO. Selected by the CTO to spearhead all efforts to align IT operations with business needs and facilitate growth by restructuring the IT Operations teams to be more streamlined, efficient and structured. Provided leadership and framework to actively identify IT needs and implement appropriate solutions to deliver key services to more than 4000 users throughout their 4 Divisions in the north east. Full accountability for planning, redesigning, and managing SCP’s core IT services at all 4 locations which consisted of network infrastructure, desktop support, help Desk, telecommunications, change control and outsourced Web Development. Led and mentored a team of 28 in providing 24x7x365 support to all users.Collaborated extensively with executive management and other department heads to define challenging business needs and ensure appropriate delivery of technology solutions. Established and implemented new processes, procedures, and standards to increase efficiency and capability throughout the organization.
