Major Responsibilities:• Being a core engineer, I have to configure the data of MSANs, MSAGs, Routes, Subroutes, SIP TGs, SIP subscribers, IUA links, BRA links, GPON subscribers• Create and manage the prefixes or DN range for different directions depending upon the requirement whether they belong to intra office or other local Exchanges.• Create GPON subscribers and manage Value added services for GPON subscribers in Softswitch.• Create PFXPRO (special processing) for the… Show more Major Responsibilities:• Being a core engineer, I have to configure the data of MSANs, MSAGs, Routes, Subroutes, SIP TGs, SIP subscribers, IUA links, BRA links, GPON subscribers• Create and manage the prefixes or DN range for different directions depending upon the requirement whether they belong to intra office or other local Exchanges.• Create GPON subscribers and manage Value added services for GPON subscribers in Softswitch.• Create PFXPRO (special processing) for the Calling or Called number whenever required.• Configuration of E1s on UMG with other local Exchanges.• Manage all users created in UMS N2000 and give users rights according to their managed domain area and devices.• Troubleshooting in case of any range or number is not getting dialed from NGN numbers by activating the traces (ISUP, SIP depending upon protocol used by call) on Number. If any MSAN, MSAG, UMG is down then check its status by activating H248 trace and ping results.• Activate different Traffic Tasks on time basis (hourly basis) in different direction and monitor the traffic stats.• Take the Billing Back up of both subscriber and Trunk from IGWB after every month.• Take the command LOGs of all the users from N2000 and keep a close eye on users executed commands so any misuse of user authorities could be avoided.• Monitoring alarms of all the devices, MSAGs, MSANs and UMGs, STP links and ensure that these all are working normal.• Supervising the night activities (installation of patch or licenses) which can disturb the services and verification after the activity that all services are working normally by comparing the Logs of system before and after activity.• Resolve the TTs generated by PTCL NOC department before escalation to GM or higher level.
