I joined E & Y as a graduate in New Zealand and spent 38 years with the firm. During that period I lived and worked overseas for 20+ years in countries including Canada, UK, Kuwait, Poland, Vietnam, Turkey, Romania and Kazakhstan, I usually spent 2-4 years in each country. I have acted as country managing partner, departmental managing partner, risk management partner, etc.Although my prime focus was on audit I was also very involved in consulting activities such as financial consulting, M & A work, due diligence, IT consulting, financial restructuring, IPOs, training, etc.I have managed groups of up to 300 people directly.
