Liaising with student members of the CIEH and the Regional Management Board in the the North East was my primary role. In this role I contributed to the general workings of the regional management board, in order to engage students more effectively with the institute on a regional level.I created, organised, and executed the first Regional Student Conference, interlinking the regional management board, Northumbria University, and Northumbria Students'​ Union. After receiving regional funding to undertake the second conference, I successfully created and delivered this, focusing on 'the future of environmental health'​ as a key theme.My involvement with the CIEH also extended to volunteering in the 'Student Advisory Group'​ (shaping national engagement strategy), and to representing the entire student body in the 'Education Review'​ of the institute, which focused on revolutionising how the country engages with the profession, and chooses to study on its courses, where I undertook and reported on key primary research for the review board.In addition to the primary research conducted as part of the Education Review, I also undertook primary research and subsequent data analysis (primarily qualitative) for the CIEH as part of their review into the involvement of environmental health intervention areas within JSNAs, whilst still studying at University. This target based recruitment role involved complex aims incorporating 'doing more with less'​, whilst maintaining and developing strong relationships over the whole of the country, sometimes in conjunction with rival organisations for the greater benefit of the institution.This position expanded upon my work as Student Outreach Representative, developing my interpersonal, time management, communication, and presentation skills. It required working with multiple departments (CRM, digital, events, admissions, postgraduate, widening participation, and marketing intelligence) internally and externally in order to ensure effective delivery of activities, utilising analytics in order to provide a focused service.I was tasked with building new relationships with further education institutes in the Bristol area. Through use of a dedicated engagement strategy which I created myself, I achieved the highest ever level of recorded unique interventions within the student recruitment team for the area, doubling my original target and achieving a 1000% increase on the amount from the previous year.In addition, I have contributed solutions to several internal university and marketing projects, including the: Financial Improvement Workshops, Student Engagement Workshops, and Product Improvement Sessions.
