Mr P T Srinath, Director, Federation of Indian Export Organisations has been facilitating and promotiong international trade from India since the last 31 years of the 35 years of his service career has been dedicated to trade promotion and facilitating for diverse number of products produced in India. Mr Srinath also represented in Committees of the Ministry of Commerce Govt of India on EU DEFORESTATION REGULATION and also represented Industry on a ADD/CVD case on Paper bags in USA to the Ministry of Commerce Govt of India. Recently Mr Srinath was invited as an expert panel member for the Board of Studies (BoS) and Academic Advisory Council (AAC) meetings of Institute of Public Enterprises(IPE) Hyderabad in their PGDBM programme on International Business. During the tenure of his career Mr Srinath has represented his organization in trade promotion for Indian products in countries as diverse as USA, China, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Hongkong, Germany and Turkey. Mr Srinath is a commerce graduate and an MBA from a leading institution in India.

Update departmental heads on various policy issues related to formulation of new programmes, particularly those related to development initiatives in jute industry.Promote arrangements for better marketing and sale of jute products in India and abroad.Organise participation by the Council in domestic and international trade shows.Prepare strategies for better marketing of jute and products in Indian and International Markets through development of supply chains.Achievements:Prepared a strategy paper on marketing and promotion of jute commodity /consumer products for the Jute Technology Mission. Coordinating the creation of "Jute Industrial Park" in West Bengal and other states with stakeholders, solicitors, financing agencies and Central government offices.Preparing export targets, tariff and non-tariff barriers of jute products based on analysis of policies of Indian Governments, International Trade Agreements and SWOT analysis of international markets.Organised "Jute India", an international trade show on jute products in New Delhi.
