• Project manager and architect for the implementation of an integrated claimant management and financial management system that supports electronic dental claim submission across Canada. This application supports six programs from the AEII Alberta Employment Immigration and Industry).

•Collaborated with senior management and business representatives across the corporation to develop a plan for the implementation of a corporate Information Management Program. This program delivered a phased implementation of various projects to implement corporate records management, data and CSOX (Canadian Sarbanes Oxley), and other relevant policies and procedures.

• Developed data management policies and procedures to address CSOX (Canadian Sarbanes Oxley) requirements for the company. This deliverable addressed information management, information stewardship, information classification, information inventory, audit and information handling.

• Founded the highly successful volunteer-based project seeking to improve the quality of life for special needs individuals in Alberta through the provision of personal computers and software and ongoing computer support. TELUS Project Blue Eagle provided support to over 7,000 individuals with special needs at 180 sites across the province of Alberta.• Provided positive community relations for the corporation while improving the quality of life for special needs clients. TELUS received numerous thank you letters from individuals, schools, non-profit organizations and businesses for community support.• The project was recognized by the Premier’s office, Alberta Learning and received numerous awards from various communities and organizations including Easter Seal, EmployeAbility, County of Strathcona, and Edmonton Public Schools. • In 1997, the Conference Board of Canada identified the project as one of the top 100 partnerships in education.

Senior management recognized this project for meeting all business objectives and implementation into production ahead of schedule and under budget.• Streamlined procedures to improve system support for mission critical legacy applications reducing the number of system failures and time spent on system outages.
