AARP/IRS Tax Aide Certification--now volunteering at Library during tax season. Maybe we'll meet?Paused academic tutoring for family matters, after brief stint as consultant to entrepreneur/small business for workload planning and scheduling, interim basis. Semi-Retired Water District professional currently Licensed K-12 Teacher by CCSD since Fall 2014, tutoring math, science and history in local library to middle and high school students.For CCSD Adult Ed, proctored HSE/High School Equivalency tests and taught English to working adults. Worked year round for high school equivalency tests (HSE) in part time status. Have taught all grades and subjects in middle and elementary schools, randomly. For over a year, taught 10th-12th graders in Algebra, Geometry, Amer History and NV Govt. Mentored students, including one homeless 12th grader.Retired with 30 years in Water District, lastly in facility construction and maintenance with engineering project controls. One of 5 women in top management in 1986 Water District of 250 staff; currently over 1200. Responsible for master scheduling of all water facilities constructed and/or repaired from 1993-2014. Scheduling included collection, pumping, treatment, storage, or distribution of water with residential, distribution and/or transmission pipelines and appurtenances, including Las Vegas Springs Preserve. From 1986-1993 previously responsible for managing unit that issued all repair work orders and maintained radio communications with field crews. In 1979 began a career in Federal contracts for EPA, Army and Energy.Multi-year Church volunteer with various faith building young adult programs; later changed (with husband Bill) to work with Retrouvaille --a marriage program for struggling couples.
