Cultivating the next generation of engineering talent. San Diego Computer Science (SDCS) operates as a non-profit, tech-incubator located in San Diego, California. We provide students access to workshops, professional resources and network enabling them to collaborate and solve real-world problems. We are the largest and most-rapidly growing student ran organization a part of San Diego Community College District.I have taken teams of students to Hackathons, tech conferences, and hosted interviews of Tech-industry professionals in the form of a live podcast, previously interviewing industry professionals (software engineers, database administrators, entrepreneurs, startup founders, astro-physicists, book authors etc.)I run an online forum with over 350+ student members, which allows for students and teachers to connect, collaborate to work on different projects, share news, ideas and community opportunities such as internships, events and networking. We have offered workshops for students such as coding interview preparation, introduction to Linux programming, Basics of Git, and Amazon Web Services with the help of San Diego Miramar College and Professor of Computer Science, Andrew Huang.My vision is uniting free-thinkers, self-starters alike and connect them to an ever-expanding network of peers, professionals, resources and opportunity towards their path to success.

Using open-source data collected by the International Space Station (ISS), available on NASA Gene Lab repository to visualize and summarize data using multi-omics for bioinformatics. (Multiomics is a new approach where the data sets of different omic groups are combined during analysis. The different omic strategies employed during multiomics are genome, proteome, transcriptome, epigenome, and microbiome). The project is lead by Dr. Afshin Beheshti and MD Andrea Camera, and studies the effects of space travel, environment on the biology of mice. Data was collected on mice immune response, skeletal muscle tissue and inflammation. Considering factors such as false discovery rate (FDR) error margin in data.

Presented prototype to NASA Jet Propulsion Labs and California Space Grant.-With the help of my team, we have created a biomedical device, using programming software, Arduino and eval-board, ESPWrover32. This device contains sensors such as MAX30102 and MPU6050. In combined effort, these sensors determine pulse and blood oxygen saturation, orientation of a moving object, an accelerometer, which measures gravitational acceleration, a gyroscope, which measures the rotational velocity, and ambient temperature.

The LEAGUE of Amazing Programmers empowers kids K-12 in STEM related fields. Students learn Java, Python, Javascript etc. In my position, I teach the students how to build and program robots, (Robokit, CoDrone) and other applications; as well as mentor and manage them as a counselor.
