Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all operations activities, including:• Provide on-site and remote assistance to 12 Member States in order to help them accurately evaluate and define strategies to improve its SARPs effective implementation level in OPS, PEL, LEG and ORG areas.• Help States to adequately prepare for USOAP Audits and ICVMs through the revision and evaluation of its corrective action plans, upload of evidence to the OLF, and selection of best courses of action. • Prepare, support, deliver and monitor technical assistance missions, • Prepare Latin American Aviation Regulations (LARs) amendment proposal based on ICAO’s SARP’s updates • Develop technical publications to support LARs, and deliver the related inspector training courses in subjects such as: SMS/SSP, PBN, RVSM, EFB, PED, UPRT, GSI OPS, Foreign operator ramp inspections, and others• Train and certificate new multinational inspectors and instructors to support assistance activities. Major acomplishments:• Developed and executed the first Online GSI OPS Course for Aviation Safety Inspectors• Helped States to solve Significant Safety Concerns (SSC) and to increase overall E.I.• Planned, managed and executed international meetings of groups of experts• Reach 100% harmonization between LAR´s and SARPs in OPS area • Participated in the development of important and innovative aviation safety policies and procedures, including the development of the Global Aviation Safety Plan Roadmap; and the development of several Advisory Circulars • Taught courses to Aviation Safety Inspectors on SMS/SSP, PBN, RVSM, EFB, PED, UPRT, GSI OPS, and Foreign operator ramp inspections• Led and participated in the “Regional project for the harmonization of the Operations manual (OM) structure and content with the SARPs”
