During my 18 years of association with Virginia and Georgia corporations, I have handled leadership roles in engineering, testing, manufacturing and quality functions. During this satisfying career, I have earned 5 special awards for outstanding accomplishments in Engineering developments, cost reductions and process quality excellence from Virginia Transformer Corporation.My Top Eight accomplishments at Virginia and Georgia Transformer corporation are detailed below1) The FIRST OIL TRANSFORMER at our Mexico plant was designed and manufactured under my Guidance during the year 1999.2) Designed standard 15kV and 25kV class dry type transformers of 500 - 2500 KVA ratings for Mexican Market during the year 20013) Developed " Non-destructive burr level measurement " and statistical Process Controls ( SPC)controls to reach 0.5 mill core burr quality.4) Developed Paint systems for Corrosive environments which resulted in reducing the field complaints to less than 0.4%.5) Designed & executed vendor quality assurance plan which resulted in achieving 220 PPM defect level in vendor quality.6) Developed and implemented " Engineering quality assurance & validation plan " which resulted in ZERO design failures for the past three years.7) Obtained ISO certification for the Georgia Transformers which is a recent addition to the corporation8)Saved $1.39M during the year 2017 through waste elimination in manufacturing operation.
