As Interim CEO I worked with the dynamic Board and staff team of over 70 people for further the purpose of the organisation to put Yolngu language, law and culture at the centre of decision making:"ARDS has nearly 50 years' experience working with Yolŋu communities in Northeast Arnhem Land. Danila Dilba Health Service was established in 1991 as an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation with the aim of improving the physical, mental, spiritual and social wellbeing of Biluru and Torres Strait Island people of the Yilli Rreung (greater Darwin) region. I am honoured to be invited to contribute to the Board as a non-member Director.

The panel, made up of nine early childhood experts from the NT and five from around Australia will provide analysis and advice to the NT Government in the preparation of their Early Childhood Development Plan.
