I was inspired to start JURU Yoga after analyzing the growing Yoga market and understanding the need to provide made-in-India eco-friendly Yoga mats and props.During the ideation phase I had also worked as part-time yoga teacher and consultant for wellness brands (Yoga apps/Yoga centers). I am a published author and have completed a couple of yoga certification courses. I have been fortunate enough for the opportunity to play many roles in our family-run education publishing house where I had spent over 9 years, learning, exploring and leading the team in product marketing, sales, promotions, client relation, new launches and communications management. I continue to learn & teach Yoga as a way of life and continue to write on Yoga philosophy and spirituality.
