Disaster Recovery Event Manager
CurrentThe Recovery Event & Crisis Manager provides event leadership through skilled project management in support of customer information technology disaster recovery events. Responsible for command and control of the recovery event, ensuring completion of all pre-event milestones, event execution workflow and all post-event follow-up responsibilities. Strive for continual improvement by both making recommendations to process improvement and quality of our service delivery.• Develop and manage project plan for customer implementation projects (Simple projects with complexity "Core" and "Advanced" defined by GST project complexity definitions Colo, Managed services, RS • -Establish project scope with stakeholders and manage implementations to ensure on-time delivery. • Manage medium complexity projects from contract to production.• Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment through coordination of project kickoff. • Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation.• Create strategies for proactive risk mitigation and contingency planning.• Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.• Direct and oversee project engineering team and manage conflicts within the group.• Efficiently identify and solve project implementation issues.• Maintain technical and project documentation. • Good organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.• Coordinate and facilitate weekly status meetings with stakeholders.• Document and track open issues for client and project team.• Maintain project artifacts by ensuring all client information/documentation is stored in a central repository, and client folders are up to date and contain correct data.• Own and govern end-to-end project lifecycle.
