Mr. Puleo serves as a Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton: a management and technology consulting firm, which provides services to leading Fortune 500 corporations, governments, and not-for-profits across the globe.

As a small business owner, Mr. Puleo developed, directed, and managed multiple campaign strategies, which focused on advocacy, media relations, opposition research, and fundraising to reach targeted goals and deliver successful campaigns. Mr. Puleo has a proven track record of managing public and private sector legislative and political affairs programs, driving an agenda, and upholding Republican ideals while developing innovative ideas to meet the demands of a changing political world. During his tenure as an owner, he established and maintained a profitable small political consulting business managing a staff of 3 grassroots consultants, and a variety of matrixed independent consultants. Mr. Puleo’s business provided analyses and information to business leaders in the Northern Virginia community regarding legislative priorities from state and local governments that were utilized by the leaders to evaluate potential funding decisions. He managed and established budgets for multiple million dollar grassroots and grasstop campaigns to target client objectives and influence public opinion on specific topics. Mr. Puleo leveraged and maintained relationships with key decision makers such as elected officials, appointed community leaders, and business managers to deliver results and complete goals and campaigns for a variety of clients. Moreover, he developed reports for multiple clients, which analyzed the implications of legislative actions pending debate in the Virginia General Assembly. He managed multiple teams and effective operations for political grassroots operations. His clients included, Cricket Wireless, John McCain Victory Campaign, Spending Revolt, Supervisor Pat Herrity, Senator Jay O’Brien and Chairman Corey Stewart.

Mr. Puleo served as Legislative Director for the Chairman of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors. Prince William County manages a larger budget than several small states. As the second most populated county in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Mr. Puleo was responsible for coordinating and overseeing all legislative matters designated by the Chairman of the Board of County Supervisors. He tracked multiple legislative efforts and the associated media coverage to develop public support campaigns, including letters to the editor, public hearing speakers, and general support for legislative goals. Mr. Puleo provided strategy memos and talking points to help the Chairman coordinate and deliver votes on upcoming legislation.

Mr. Puleo served as one of the 40 Legislative Directors in the Virginia State Senate. As Legislative Director, Mr. Puleo helped the Senator provide constituent services to approximately 200,000 citizens of the Commonwealth. Moreover, Mr. Puleo managed all of the Senator’s legislative initiatives, including the writing, lobbying, and tracking of legislation. He developed legislative summary sheets for concerned constituents that were used to encourage support from other community leaders. One of Mr. Puleo’s key responsibilities was the coordination and passage of multiple pieces of legislation including the current Teenage Driving Cell Phone Bill, which places limitations on teenage drivers’ cell phone use.
