As a Gas engineer onboard LNG Bunkering Vessel- New Frontier 1, I'm entrusted with the following responsibilities:Responsible for the maintenance and operation of all cargo handling and monitoring equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Provide operational support to the Officer on Watch (OOW) during cargo operations, including handling equipment and systems.Supervise and ensure the safety of all personnel working under your supervision during cargo operations.Maintain and test cargo instrumentation, compressors, pumps, ballast systems, gas analyzers, inert gas/dry air plants, re-liquefaction plants, Gas Combustion Units (GCU), and nitrogen systems.Conduct regular testing of equipment and maintain accurate records, including gas detectors, smoke detectors, Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems, daily cargo logs, heating coils, and hull inspections.Collaborate with the Chief Engineer Officer and Master to ensure the safe execution of planned passages and adherence to onboard contingency plans and Safety Management Systems.
