Click!!!That was the sound I could hear while goalkeeping during a casual football match at my college. 5 months down the line, turns out, that was my knee ligament, tearing apart, nonetheless, went through surgery, and voila 2 months of strict bed rest, before I could walk again. That is when I was for the first time introduced to the world of content writing. Fast forward to 9 years today, I have my own content development agency, alongside my dream startup, providing services in the domain of content writing, scriptwriting, SEO, and consultation on communication strategies for websites, brochures, videos, etc. For me, though my entrepreneurial journey might have taken its first step when I was 10, it wasn’t before an event in 2011 and my first Jagriti Yatra journey in 2014, I could really be calling myself an entrepreneur. Getting selected in the world’s longest entrepreneurial train journey, was like a dream come true. That was my life’s first biggest achievement and many have followed on since then. After having successfully failed in 4 startups, I believe it was this journey and conversations with over 500 aspiring entrepreneurs from different walks, geographies(and countries), domains, roles, and other diversity factors, I could get that perseverance is the key.I got a chance to work with Fidelity International, but as my entrepreneurial spirit would have it, I decided to quit within the first 8 months, to pursue my dreams. Since then life has been filled with highs and lows of the entrepreneurial journey. As I founded Edgy Scribblers, I also volunteered for Jagriti Yatra’s core team for 4 years, where I got the opportunity to organise an event at the President’s estate or Rashtrapati Bhawan(even helping in drafting honourable president’s address for the same event).As the journey continued I decided to move ahead and turn the key for my dream startup, which I have been bootstrapping since its inception. It's a discovery platform for wellness centres and experts, an idea that was born out of the problems I saw many wellness enthusiasts facing the problem of not being able to find the right wellness centre. That is how Aanya Wellness came into existence, promoting preventive healthcare based on the principles of natural healing. Today, with COVID-19 forcing its existence in our ecosystem, preventive healthcare is more imperative than it ever could & we are bridging the gaps of mental wellness and immunity-boosting through our platform and wellness community.Happy to explore collaborations: pulkit@aanyawellness.com
