I am an experienced researcher with a history of practice oriented projects. For the past two decades, I have been collaborating with the variety of Finnish industrial companies as well as with engineering and supply networks. My research network is international and broad. I have been planning and managing research projects of various sizes. These projects have involved collaboration with colleagues from both industrial and research organizations. My skills involve Data Modeling, Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering Management, Engineering Design, Research Management and Education. I have supervised more than 60 M.Sc. theses and taken part in the examination of 5 Ph.D. dissertations.

  I have been leading a team consisting on experienced experts on designing and testing remote maintenance devices for Fusion Power Plants (FPP) and planning projects on autonomous manufacturing. The task has involved strategic planning as well as project planning and management, but mostly everyday management of team consisting people with varying educational backgrounds, genders, ages and personalities. Really a learning experience after the university, where the leading of students to knowledge was also an enjoyable experience. Lately I have participated to lesser degree in project execution and more on project planning and supervision (see: projects).
