Now, serving beyond the expert role, I am a facilitator, to make life easier and better for our clients.Beginning as an intern at Merrill Lynch in New York City, I left to join an independent financial planning firm in New Jersey, helping corporate executives and their families. I was recruited to Ernst & Young in Washington, D.C., where I developed technical knowledge and built financial models to help clients answer questions, like, 'What's the shape of my financial future?' Ernst & Young adopted my solutions nationwide to help the other advisors and their clients. This was very rewarding and challenging, but the music stopped when the firm started promoting tax shelters and senior partners went to jail. Fortunately, I knew better and didn’t promote these schemes.I joined the largest branch of Morgan Stanley, in Washington, DC, to develop my entrepreneurial spirit as a Wealth Advisor. I understand the role of big money center banks and their financial systems, having achieved top growth marks. However, along this journey, I discovered that my personality and philosophical approach to service is more personalized and advanced -- my clients valued advice over products. With this experience and realization, plus the opportunity to unite my family near Philadelphia, I returned, full circle, to independent financial planning, where I founded Junto Wealth to help my clients achieve a rewarding life.'Junto' was the name of Ben Franklin's visionary mastermind group, for the purpose of mutual improvement -- now called the American Philosophical Society. Junto means 'together'. I live near Philadelphia with my wife, Kami, and our three children. I read a ton and exercise competitively. I built and own a video production studio, 'Junto Productions', to help us creatively serve, teach, and share for lasting change. I am President of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) serving over 500 members across SE Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware.
