I am an experienced, practical family lawyer who gets cases done with the minimum fuss and costs.I am a solicitor, mediator and collaborative lawyer, specialising in private family law and particularly income and asset distribution on divorce. I am the founder and business owner of Blanchards Law, which I set up in 2011. From one office in London, we have now three other offices in Buckinghamshire and in the centre of the beautiful market town of Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. Our closely knit team loves being at the centre of everything, and we are always expanding, and continuing the grow and develop the business.I deal with both international and domestic matters, having particular expertise in appealing against previous orders and setting aside orders made in financial proceedings, and applications under Part III of the MFPA 1984.Family Law is a difficult and sensitive area; it's often very personal. I successfully acted for the respondent in a High Court appeal regarding a civil restraining order in the anonymised case of [2020] EWHC 3542 (Fam).Through continued professional development, I keep my skills and knowledge up to date by participating in training sessions, delivering lectures and recording training DVDs for other lawyers and commentating regularly on legal matters.
