Responsible for the manufacturing of specialized (Medical Device) contact lenses for people with severe eye disease on Diamond Turning Machine.Responsibilities:• Setting up of a manufacturing facility for manufacturing these contact lenses.• Understanding and training the operations on Diamond Turning Machine, Laser Engraver and Plasma technology. Including their calibration and maintenance.• Implementation of QMS by creating SOP’s and complying to regulatory requirements for manufacturing of medical devices.• ISO 13485:2016 External and Internal Auditing for QMS.• Participating at a senior level in the management of plant operations.• Making decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement.• Bench marking best practices and driving the use of such methods across responsible operations.• Ensuring that the plant complies with all regulatory requirements for ISO 13485.• Optimizing profit with respect to the lifetime of the plant & the operation period.• Monitoring the quality and standards of products produced by the plant.• Providing leadership, coordination and training to the plant and operational team.• Ensuring adequate competent staffing levels always
