Main Function:Planning and implementing overall supply chain strategy with in the firm to ensure that efficiency and productivity is maximized. Determining key supply chain KPI to be aligned with internal and external policies. Monitoring the forecasts quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities. Follow up with Sales and Marketing to get Yearly and monthly F/C, and converting in to Production plan based on the Machine capacity, Man power availability and Material availability. Ensure to meet Customer and Sales requirementFollow with the suppliers to expedite the deliveries mainly for the Import items to meet the production requirements on time and communicate with the suppliers for various issues related to procurement. Strengthening vendor source. Evaluating and negotiating with vendors for price & Various terms & conditions. Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various conditions such as Quality/Technology improvement rate, less lead-time, prompt delivery, credit terms etc. Ensuring adherence to Quality standards for all incoming materials. Coordinating & ensuring implementation of the group strategies amongst the local suppliers. (Further the process is ongoing for more improvements for the on job by trainings as per Zamil Standards.)
