With over 10 years of experience working at SSHCL, I have developed extensive skills in bank statement reconciliation for multiple custodians, including NT, Scottish, HSBC, CITI, Goldman Sacs, Northern Trust, BNY, and JPMorgan. My responsibilities have included performing cash, position, and futures reconciliation and utilizing my knowledge of Recon, investigation, follow-up, and escalation to resolve outstanding entries from top to bottom of the process.In addition to my experience in bank statement reconciliation, I have also conducted stock recon for clients who have transferred their assets from State Street custodian to another custodian and vice versa. I work closely with the Ops team to clear breaks and conduct control checks to ensure all missing trades are notified. Furthermore, I possess expertise in handling on-loan positions for domestic cash and position that are custodian away from State Street.Throughout my tenure at SSHCL, I have demonstrated proficiency in using Excel versions of 2003, 2007, and Office 365 manual and auto patches. I have prepared SOPs for all the recons I have handled and updated them for new process learning. Additionally, I maintain records to support audits and perform QC checks to ensure the quality of the completed recons files meets the expectations of our clients.
