During my two-month online research internship at Simulation Lab – Scientific Research and Development Center, I served as a CAE Engineer within the Product Development Center. The internship, which took place from June 24, 2024, to August 16, 2024, was focused on Aeronautics Research, specifically targeting subsonic aircraft.My primary research during this internship was titled “Feature on Wing Flap to Enhance Aerodynamic Efficiency.” The project involved extensive analysis and simulation work aimed at improving the aerodynamic performance of aircraft wing flaps, which are crucial for controlling lift and drag during flight. I utilized ANSYS Fluent to simulate various design modifications and assess their impact on aerodynamic efficiency through computational fluid dynamics (CFD).This internship provided me with hands-on experience in applying CFD techniques to solve complex aerodynamic challenges. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, I enhanced my skills in using ANSYS Fluent, gained deeper insights into aeronautical design, and developed a robust understanding of the practical applications of aerodynamic principles in subsonic aircraft.This experience has significantly strengthened my expertise in aeronautics and CFD, equipping me with valuable skills that I am eager to apply in future professional opportunities.
