Since its inception, the Studio - formerly known as ‘Puran Kumar Architects’ - flourished as a professional architecture and design house. Our projects continued to embody a strong sense of place and the identity - attributes which the Studio related with and which we strove to achieve. Puran Kumar Architects was re-branded as Studio PKA in 2014. From collaborating to experimenting, and constantly questioning the status quo - the Studio seeks conviction in its processes with an added dimension of empathy.We believe in telling stories. Of weaving narratives that make the design process immersive, vivid and intimate. Simplicity, elegance and functionality form the core of our design ethos, as we seek to envision and create meaningful spaces that exude a sense of comfort and an air of tranquility. With projects spread out across the country, we have garnered an extensive yet diverse portfolio of work that has catered to a distinguished clientele. From Corporate Interiors to Residential Spaces to Adaptive Re-Use, Studio PKA, located within the Art District (in South Bombay) is breaking new ground as it expands, evolves its design language and ventures out in search of new typologies in the field architecture and design.
