This included being featured by Microsoft in their May 2017 keynote and subsequently on their social channels.• Being one of the most successful institutions in the world in terms of students winning scholarships to attend the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) - with three scholars in 2015 (out of six in Australia), two scholars in 2016 (out of eight in Australia), five scholars in 2017 (out of 10 in Australia), and two scholars in 2018.• Applying and being successful for a $10,000 grant from the NSW Association of Independent Schools to introduce drone programming into our curriculum.• Providing authentic and relevant extension opportunities for enthusiastic and talented students, such as participation in hackathons - CGS teams won over $17,000 in cash and in-kind prizes at various hackathons and competitions (GovHack, Hackathon ACT, BSides Canberra, Young ICT Explorers) since we started participating in 2012.
