👋🏽 Hi, my name is Purna🎓 Graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering.🌇 Living in Germany, with a passion for using data science for decision making that will grow your business📚 I have experience working in research as well as at startups. Most recently, I was a key contributor at GeoInsight, a startup that develops the Digital Twin, an intelligent Earth model with a hexagonal grid system. I wrote code to automate the download of satellite images from three different sources and used machine learning algorithms for dimensionality reduction and anomaly detection. I also completed my master's thesis on the use of machine learning methods, specifically decision tree algorithms, to classify and digitize historical forest management maps, achieving a high accuracy rate over 95%. 💻 I am eager to leverage my skills and expertise in machine learning and GIS.🏔 In my freetime I like experimenting with different cuisines, and write on Quora.💪🏽 I have worked on several projects that involved the use of Python, R, Java, QGIS, ArcGIS, SQL, and Matlab for processing, visualizing, and modeling satellite imagery, historical maps, and gravitational variations of the Earth.
