Managing the entire Compliance and Audit Department at Accern AI. Accern AI is a platform in the financial AI space and its infrastructure is completely on AWS cloud. My responsibility includes:1. Leading the certification effort for SOC2 audit in year 2021 and 2022 covering: a. Drafting and finalizing the audit plan. b. Leading all walkthroughs with auditors. c. Preparing the remediation plan and coordinating with all internal teams to remediate the identified gaps. 3. Drafting the IT and Infosec policies and procedures at Accern including but not limited to: a. Access control policy and procedureb. Change management policy and procedure c. Incident management policy and procedure d. Information security policy e. IT asset managementf. Vendor management policy and procedure g. Security awareness trainings and so on4. Leading and managing the streamlining effort of internal processes to align with SOC2 and ISO27001 standards in coordination with internal teams including: a. Implementing a stronger change management processb. Streamline the access management (on-boarding, off-boarding and user review) processc. Setting up a vendor management processd. Implement a vulnerability management process and so on5. Reviewing and monitoring compliance to internal procedures on an ongoing basis.6. Be the liaison between the process owners and external auditors during external audits/reviews.7. Setting up and implementing a compliance / audit framework at Accern. 8. Fulfilling the IT Compliance checklists and questionnaire requirements for Clients and vendors. 9. Any other ad-hoc compliance related task or effort.
