I was worked on a DBT funded project on the Generation of Inheritable, transgene-free abiotic stress (Salinity and Drought) tolerant and semi-dwarf indica rice cultivars using new plant breeding approach. My research work focused on rice plant tissue culture, and genetic transformation, and molecular analysis transformed lines. During this period I had experienced in molecular techniques, including isolation of plasmid DNA, genomic DNA, RNA, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), Molecular cloning, protein isolation, SDS PAGE, Plant tissue culture, and plant transformation.

I was joined as Junior research fellow in DST sponsored project where my research focusing on optimization of Fermentor operation, medium optimization for the production of agricultural biological inputs and its formulation. Also involved in bio-assay for the identification of potential bio-control agents.I also worked another DBT sponsored project where my research focused on microbial analysis of Distillery effluent including pathogenic population. And also concentrated on bacterial isolation for the decolorization of the effluent.
