“India School Leadership Institute” in a non-profit organization runs a 2-year skill development programme for the school principals in 7 cities across India. As a Programme Manager in Mumbai, we had 105 school principals as part of the programme fellowship. My role was to conduct monthly workshops for the school principals, provide ground support on implementation through visits, work as a coach to 33 school principals to hone their school leadership skills, support them to create sustainable structures to improve the teaching-learning practices, use data to find the gaps and create strategy which could lead the programme to reach desired results.
