Client Service Specialist - Real EstateThe prime focus of this role is to understand and cater to the clients needs. MSCI RE - Data Content ServicesMSCI Real Estate Indexing and Benchmarking. Handling the biggest UK REIT client and a team of 7 to publish the fund vision handbook (research paper) every quarter. Also responsible for resolving queries and adhoc requests for other 12 of the biggest clients in UK Real Estate sector

As a valuation Control analyst i perform following activities for a Hedge Fund client : • Understanding client valuation policy and governing documents.• Translation of valuation policy into operational process by product, frequency and sources.• Ensure pricing of all securities for the NAV period.• Conduct materiality tests on position level, instrument level and fund level.• Collect and analyze market data and compare to reference marks.• Clearing valuation exceptions in a given time frame• Challenge Vendors Prices against Manager and Broker Quotes.• Stale or No movement price analysis

Reconciliation of NOSTRO A/C’s of offshore clients from ASIAPAC and EMEA region.Resolution of cash breaks on NOSTRO a/c’s as well as liaising with Agent Banks around the world with the Client’s Relationship Manager.Assigning credit ratings of S&P, Moody’s & Fitch to various American bonds.Process Migration from Asset & Stocks Reconciliation Team, Mumbai 2009:; NAV calculation of Mutual Funds a/c’s of clients (Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, & Merrill lynch)ACHIEVEMENTS:Best Trainee at the donor location, Bournemouth (U.K.) Appreciation emails from managers across the globe for my contribution in the above projects and their seamless transition in Mumbai.Also took a lead in developing reconciliations Software – TLM replacing the older Nostro Reconciliations Software – SSR (Smart Stream Reconciliations)

Asset setup & Pricing of CP’s, CD’s, Bonds, Equities, etc. to be able to trade on the market for the clients and presenting the same on the system on their respective a/c’s

NAV calculation of Mutual Funds a/c’s of clients (Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, & Merrill lynch)Importing and allocation of trades to back office systems for client verification and settlement.Asset setup & Pricing of CP’s, CD’s, Bonds, Equities, etc. to be able to trade on the market for the clients and presenting the same on the system on their respective a/c’s.Verifying client Files and Trades for price discrepancy. Cross checking price with Bloomberg and Reuters and informing CSR of price discrepancy.Verifying the securities traded by the client are not on restricted list of the relative exchanges and informing CSR/compliance team on an urgent basis for the discrepancy to be noticed.Investigation of breaks, reconciliation and resolving the breaks in the system, Life cycle management for post settlement team.Assigning credit ratings to various Bond’s.
