Residential Premium Inverter Products- FIT- Daikin Texas Technology Park• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to assess design feasibility of system level components for a 35M+ USD mega assembly production line of Daikin Premium Inverter split outdoor FIT product.• Demonstrated DFM techniques on sheet metal parts, tested for DFMEA, and released drawings through Engineering Change Requests while establishing concepts with project stakeholders.• Prototyped and tested design change components using FEA simulation for modal analysis and vibration analysis, programmed results using MATLAB to identify the time-frequency relation impacting the tested combination and other components in the continuum.• Designed and modified evaporator coil circuitry to meet the system level performance required by the DOE Challenge for higher COP in a Cold Climate Heat Pump.• Implemented Daikin design standards in the new cabinet design along with structural components for the Air Handler unit, capable of meeting high performance up to 5 Tons.• Optimized blower wheel and assembly design for delivering high CFM using Electronically Controlled Motors with software and airflow testing following the ASHRAE duct configuration.• Analysed design changes and testing requirements for next-generation low GWP R-32 refrigerant in compliance with UL standards for the current Daikin Unitary Inverter Residential Split System line-up.• Collaborated with lab technicians to successfully complete piping stress testing, verify tubing design for high pressure, high-temperature refrigeration flow in the inverter outdoor system.

As a part of Design engineers I created 2D & 3D Cad drawing of parts and assemblies for electronic enclosures with AutoCad, Solidworks. I simulated the finite element element analysis using Ansys software for the thermal problems.Using data analysis tools such as SAS, I performed statistical analysis for testing and designing of new products.I maintained technical documentation for the new prototypes.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, I performed essential product design modifications and developed basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment. I performed engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products and created 3-D models from 2-D drawings.
