After years of practice in conceptualizing, designing and implementing large scale software solutions on-premises and in the cloud, I joined AWS ProServ to help customers in their Cloud Adoption Journey. In this role I collaborate with Principal Architects to arrive at a Cloud-Native architecture for legacy applications and lead a team of developers to implement the solution. Some of my duties include:1. Collaborate with Principal Architects to identify decomposition patterns for monoliths into bounded contexts (Domain-Driven-Design) and subsequently mapping the bounded contexts to microservices.2. Collaborate with Principal Architects to determine the fastest route to Cloud Adoption using the 7Rs.3. Create a shared vision for each increment of a software's development cycle while strictly adhering to desired business outcomes.4. Determine appropriate design patterns that are best suited for managing various concerns in a software codebase. For exmple, I utilize SOLID principles quite exhaustively for production of enterprise grade software that is highly testable, resilient and minimizes tech debt by it's own design.5. Lead from the front by working on the most challenging stories and creating examples for high quality code deliverables utilizing the established design patterns.6. Mentor the customer developer team on Cloud-Native concepts and advanced software design principles.7. Mentor new Product Owners on agile practices.

At NTT Data I worked in the IT Asset Management domain building data integration services for over two dozen customers. Due to the nature of services offered to the customers, there often were nuanced requirements for data flow and binding various systems like ServiceNow, WorkDay, Flexera FNMS, and others. This integration created a pool of data that was then reconciled using sophisticated business logic to produce single source of truth. This data was then utilized to create dashboards for tracking hardware device assets, software license spends, opportunities for optimization and overall trend of the enterprise in each of these areas. Some of the duties I performed in this role are as follows:1. Conceptualized, Designed and Implemented large scale data integration platform called Data Services.2. Established delivery patterns for data flow orchestrations based on Data Services using Azure Pipelines and Artifact generation.3. Conceptualized, Designed and Implemented RDBMS source code management for SQL Server using Azure Artifacts.4. Established numerous integration patterns binding multiple third-party as well as home-grown tools. Some of the integration choices enabled by Data Services were REST API, direct database query, ODBC, AWS S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, ServiceNow, QuickBase, OKTA, Azure AD, Active Directory, Microsoft SCCM, Dell Boomi, Flexera products and a few more.5. Established security best practices using RBAC, Windows Credential Store, AWS Secrets Manager, and Azure Key Vault; all supported by Data Services Platform.6. Mentor system integration teams on patterns to use that enable secure choices while delivering on desired business outcomes.7. Established service management protocols through the use of pseudo-agile practices.8. Mentor dashboard developers to create various business dashboards using PowerBI.9. Established processes for documentation as code by use of markdown syntax, Azure Wikis and Azure Pipelines.

At Dell Services, I was engaged in various capacities. As a Systems Integration Advisor, I was helping with enterprise transformation efforts via development of purpose-built software, purpose-built business metric reporting systems, as well as managing customer expectations in the capacity of a technical leader. Some of my accomplishments/duties included the following.1. Collaborate with domain experts to develop a shared vision for End User Migration Readiness Assessment, and Software Asset Managment tools.2. Conceptualized, Designed and Implemented the End User Migration Readiness Assessment tool. This tool was responsible for discovering hardware devices in an enterprise through multiple sources like Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, a purpose-built software agent, and network discovery using PowerShell scripts. The tool discovered the software running on these devices and determined the readiness level (%age) of the users on these devices to migrate to the next Windows Operating System.3. Conceptualized, Designed and Implemented a software solution for managing software inventory and associated licenses. This tool built upon discovery capabilities of the migration readiness assessment tool and paired the collected data with discovered software licenses. The main objective was to identify software license shortfall in order to avoid fines resulting from manufacturer audits.4. Established data ingestion capabilities using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and dashboard reporting via PowerBI for data collected through various forms of discovery available with End User Migration Readiness Assessment tool.5. Mentored business users on various usage patterns in the frontend of End User Migration Readiness Assessment, and Software Asset Managment tools. The frontend was built in Silverlight.

Developed the 'DeIcer' tool used to detect and resolve ICE validation errors in Windows Installer Packages.Business Analytics:1. Developed a normalized SQL Server Database for collecting detailed business data from global workflow management tool.2. Developed business reporting dashboards using key KPIs identified in collaboration with business leaders.3 Implemented self-help systems via purpose-built websites.4.
