I'm a communication professional having experience of almost one and half decade in journalism. I've worked for The Himalayan Times, My Republica, Karobar Daily, Annapurna Post and its sister publication Annapurna Express and Business 360 in Nepal. I've served as Nepal correspondent of The Yomiuri Shimbun, Japan (https://japannews.yomiuri.co.jp/). During 2017-19, I've served as the elected President of Society of Economic Journalists-Nepal (SEJON)- an umbrella organization of the economic journalists in the country. In that capacity, we've partnered/collaborated with various national and international organizations for capacity enhancement of journalists, interactions/dialogue/workshops and seminars, research and publications. I've also worked as the communication professional in philanthropic institutions and also with the government institution, including the Office of the Investment Board, Nepal. I'm co-author of the book "Economic Journalism : A Handbook" (2020) for freshers interested in economic journalism. I've published more than 500 articles in economy, trade, finance, private sector,governance, economic diplomacy and FDI among others.
