As Division Manger of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, managing a 17+ team, I am responsible for overall QCDM performance of the department in the division (7 functional plants of IAIL): o Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement Category Strategies, Drive Cost performance, Risk minimization, resource optimization.o Procurement: Planning, Devising solutions to the challenges, manage uncertainties in the demand.o Supplier Quality: Driving SQ initiatives such as - PPM Reduction, Supplier Capability enhancement programs, Direct On Line, New Product development.o Team Management, Mentoring, Development and Capability Enhancement, o Setting up Governance platforms for change implementation across the division.o Responsible for making the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement a benchmark function for the industry.o Logistics, Stores and inventory optimization.

1. Supplier Development: Development and Localization of components, including development of tools, APQP, PPAP Approvals and Supplier Development activities including supplier audits as per timeline.2. Development of Strategic supplier base for minimizing the lead time of development & supply.3. Maintain the BOM cost/Target cost.4. Part localization initiative with CFT and get the part approved for minimize the part lead and cost saving.5. Drawing feasibility activity with supplier and design. 6. Raw Material planning and procurement as per requirement on monthly, weekly and daily basis to make sure Zero down time of production due to material.7. Lead for annual purchase value, which include purchases of direct and indirect material, commodity. 8. Controlling Monthly performance ratings of suppliers.9. Identify the potential component to make the cost reduction plan/Localization plan.10. Inventory controlling.
