In 2020, Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP) was established by UNDP Asia-Pacific and the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Centre for Asia-Pacific, RCC Bangkok, in collaboration with UNICEF East Asia and Pacific, UNICEF South Asia, the British Council, YOUNGO, Movers Programme and the 2030 Youth Force as a safe and inclusive space for youth across Asia and the Pacific to meaningfully engage in climate action.My contribution as a Specialist fellow include: ▪ Preparing subject-specific policy analysis and recommendation from youth perspectives;▪ Developing YECAP’s curriculum on climate agenda, i.e: climate education, resilience development, climate and energy, biodiversity, etc;▪ Contributing to knowledge sharing and participating in strategic meetings, high-level forums, and dialogues;▪ Designing participatory training sessions on climate action to facilitate capacity building of youth on climate action.
