The Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme (SSEAYP) is an annual programme sponsored by the Japanese Government and supported by the eleven (11) member countries of ASEAN. The programme brings together more than 300 youth from ASEAN countries and Japan.This Conference aims to promote friendship and mutual understanding among the youths of ASEAN member countries and Japan by participating in various exchange activities, and to cultivate the youth who can exercise their leadership skills in various fields in the globalizing society, take the world’s social agenda as their own issues, and move into action to solve those issues.Due to current travel restrictions and the prevailing safety and health risks posed by COVID-19. this year the Philippine Delegates for the “SSEAYP YOUTH CONFERENCE 2021”, will be sailing virtually on a virtual conference that will take place from November 21 to January 2022. With the theme, “Youth engagement in achieving SDGs: A route map for change,” the participants will deepen the understanding of the world’s social agenda and discuss how youth can contribute to achieving nine (9) goals of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through discussion groups and five (5) Peer Learning Sessions.
