Reported to, and worked closely with Claudia Fischbach in the Fischbach Lab with following deliverables:• Designed experiments to investigate the impact of obesity on breast cancer progression level, by utilizing 3D tumor spheroid model • Maintained cell culture of three epithelial breast cancer cells with different level of malignancy (MCF10AT, MCF10DCIS and MCF10CA1a) and adipose stromal cells (ASC) to be fabricated into 3D spheroid co-culture• Assisted in isolating and generating ASC cell line from mice and patient samples • Observed the interaction between ASC and the MCF cells by employing DNA quantification, bright field and confocal imaging• Performed immunofluorescence staining to examine localization of different markers, including E-cadherin and collagen IV

• Served as project lead to coordinate a team of five graduate students to create a home device that enables weight measurement, blood pressure test, and saturated oxygen level measurement at once, aimed to simplify routine examination process for elderly people• Designed and fabricated the prototype using SolidWorks and 3D printing, resulting in four different prototypes and one functional device• Developed LabVIEW algorithm to visualize the measurement results, and utilized MATLAB to analyze output data • Conducted device testing with over 50 subjects with varying demographics to validate the device accuracy and to ensure its safety

• Reviewed and revised existing documentation and SOPs to certify compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)• Performed in-process sampling for solid dosage production under direct supervision of Quality Assurance inspector, and performed raw material inspection under direct supervision of Quality Control inspector• Implemented FMEA model to reevaluate risk assessment for raw materials, and conducted root cause analysis using Fault Tree Analysis to comprehend the causes of product defects• Assisted in handling change control and CAPA documentation• Contributed in generating annual products record by analyzing the batch records and calculating the Cpk and Ppk • Established attractive GMP training guide for shop floor employees using Prezi and demonstrated oral presentation skills by presenting the training material in front of 30-50 employees• Actively promoting the application of Lean 6S for sustaining quality standard of Pfizer’s products

• Served in a team of researchers to conduct multiple projects in studying the effectiveness of medicinal plants on cancer treatment • Responsible of maintaining cell culture of several cell lines (MCF7, WiDR, and HeLa) to ensure the readiness for experiments• Analyzed the activity of plants extract on cancer cells by conducting cytotoxicity study, such as MTT Assay, and other supporting tests including, but not limited to, flow cytometry, FACS, ELISA, Western Blot and PCR
