After serving as a Healthcare Consultant for the Malaysian Armed Forces for 10 years, I retired with the rank of Major and joined Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care as an ER Doctor in 2018. There, I gained valuable experience in emergency medicine, accident and trauma care, ambulance transportation, and COVID treatment and management. I also received multiple honors for my work with the United Nations Peacekeeping in Lebanon and Timor-Leste, where I headed a Level 1 Hospital and oversaw healthcare logistics, community outreach programs, and medical evacuations.In September 2022, I resigned from my position as an ER Doctor and enrolled in the Master of Public Health program at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. My goal is to enhance my knowledge and skills in public health and preventive medicine, and to apply them to address the current and emerging health challenges in the world. I am passionate about improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services, especially for the underserved and vulnerable populations. I am also interested in learning from the best practices and innovations in the field of healthcare management and strategic planning.
