Directing the functions of Receipt, inspection, storage and Issues & related documentation and vendor bills processing for the payments LOGISTICS: Negotiating with the transporters /shippers and to ensure seamless, cost-effective movement of consignments and timely delivery of goods. Finalizing the fright rates for the road transportation consignments and freight forwarding contracts for the bulk consignments. STRATEGY PLANNING: Interfacing with Interdepartmental Heads for assessing the annual requirement of the materials in line with the Core Organizational Objectives and targeted budget. Establishing Procurement targets in line with rolling plan requirements and forecasting. Vendor engagement and relationship management.
