As special accomplishments : -Developed a very innovative and low cost change to our bench test approach to convert calcium sulfonate grease. This allowed better water removal and bigger batches giving better quality grease. -Developed a methodology to assess a numerical value to the comparison between a standard IR curve vs a batch curve. Apparatus was in use since the beginning of the 90's and this feature was never used or applied to quality control. This gives a correlation coefficient rather than just a subjective evaluation. This was immediately applied to all tests for the benefit of the company. Strengths: fast to learn by himself functioning of equipment and how to use them to their maximum potential. Knows a lot now about lubrication, formulation, laboratory management and quality control. Very positive individual. His enthusiasm is very refreshing. Very strong with excell programming and curves Weakness: A washing machine for glassware would have provided a more complete clean. It was to be implemented during his stay. What I noticed is that girls are better than guys at cleaning glassware. That being said, cleaning glassware is a poor use of his abilities and should be done by someone else."
