In charge of the full development phase of ES’s products (Industrial\Commercial and Space qualified) which include mass air/gas flow sensors, pressure sensors which are based on MEMS capacitive technologies. Other products are IoT environmental sensors, portable health devices, high speed transient recorders and auxiliary sub-systems intended for LIDAR applications. Achievements: Complete system design of successfully installed pilot product for Olympia Odos. The IoT system apart from monitoring environmental parameters (Temp/Hum/Corrosion) also records and sends accelerometer vibration data to a server which is then analyzed for preventive failure of large motors such as jet-fans, generators and water pumps.

Achievements:Complete H/W design of Bus contactless ticket validator/P.O.S product (SV-360). Some of the features include 7” LVDS screen, capacitive screen touch controller, NFC/EMV reader, QR code reader, Wi-fi/GPRS/Ethernet capability, RS-232/422/485 interfaces, audio amplified input/output and a battery security feature with multiple tamper switches.

The separate stages involve: Concept control circuitry, Schematic entry design, PCB Layout design, BOM optimization & component procurement, PCB assembly, H/W debugging, Benchmark testing, Firmware programming and Hardware Integration. Achievements: Implementation of 2 Raymetrics controller products (LPC-2000R, LMC-100) which are responsible for Electromechanical controlling (Fans, hatch, polarization filter actuators), Environmental sensing (Temperature, Humidity, Atmospheric Pressure, etc), Laser Interlock detecting ( proximity, RADAR, Door, etc), rain detecting, LCD interfacing, UPS and power failure event monitoring, GSM interaction, etc.

In charge of the entire H/W development phase of HD Set-top box multimedia player products. The individual stages involved: System Design, schematic entry, component management, PCB Layout design, assembly, debugging and manufacturing preparation.The development of the Hi-Zak (izak’s successor) product. A high definition Set-top Box which is capable of playing HD content directly to a T.V.(via an HDMI or analogue connection), connecting to a LAN/WLAN/ internet, playing and recording DVB-T channels, interfacing USB devices and even docking and interfacing an iPod. The content can be stored on either an internal/external HDD or an SD Flash card.

Support Engineer involving the design of small scale prototype PCBs in order to contribute to development of a Wireless LAN (802.11g) IP.Achievements: Personal acquaintance with the fields of OFDM, Verilog and ARM7 designs.
