After getting an Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, Paul immediately began working with data to improve the processes, decisions, and ultimately financials of his clients. In transportation consulting, he used shipping analytics to optimize networks and contracts for dozens of medium and large businesses. With The Home Depot, Paul was transferred 5 times in 3 years to some of the most high-profile projects the company had, all of which were resounding successes. For example, in the Sync project, his team was given complete creative control over a subset of vendors to recreate all supply chain processes from scratch, which ended up cutting over 20% of cost. While getting his Georgia Tech MBA at night, he then moved to a biopharma marketing firm wherein he lead the initiative for a complete build out of an analytics department. Being completely automated, the new calculations and visualizations not only improved visibility to operations, but were used to optimize internal processes. Seeing an opportunity to monetize the new data process, Paul then helped to design, market, and launch 3 new product lines.
