Responsible for leading and managing ACC's Privacy and Government Services teams to maintain trust and transparency in the scheme and how it is operated. This included accountability for the design and implementation of ACC's privacy strategy and supporting privacy work programme. Implemented privacy by design into ACC's change management processes. Through this I successfully led ACC from a position of crisis to being the recognised leader in personal information management in New Zealand with strong, constructive relationships with both the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and the Government Chief Privacy Officer. Also re-engineered ACC's Official Information Act approach and supporting processes, significantly improving the quality of responses and strengthening the organisation's relationship with the Office of the Ombudsmen.

Partnering with General Managers and the Executive, responsible for leading and managing privacy change initiatives to ensure the protection of personal information held by ACC. This includes accountability for the implementation of ACC's privacy strategy and programme to develop ACC to be seen as a leading exponent of privacy management.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Insurance & Prevention Services, I am responsible for: Day to day operation of the Accredited Employer Programme (ACC Partnership Programme). This includes assessing and approving employer applications for accreditation (financial and health & safety / injury management) as well as providing training and technical support to Accredited Employers.Managing all underwriting of ACC products, including ownership of the underwriting policy and framework. Providing first line of defence risk management support to ACC's Insurance business (insurance & prevention services).

Responsible for planning and delivering approximately 50 audit reviews totalling 1,600 assurance days across BNZ's Retail Banking (Personal, Business and Agribusiness), Insurance, Strategy, Marketing, Risk Management, People & Corporate Relations divisions. Additionally I sat on the Bank's Operational Risk & Compliance and Credit Risk Committees and provided regular reporting and presentations to senior governance forums, including the Board.

Providing consulting and advisory services to a range of corporate and governmental clients within New Zealand across a range of industries. Particular emphasis on Internal audit, analytics and emprical modelling including portfolio analysis, customer segmentation, product modelling, campaign seleciton and automation, credit analytics and the development of credit scorecards. Recognised subject matter expert for Basel 2 compliance and Anti-Money Laundering.
