Created, developed and executed on new T-Mobile Apprenticeship program. The Apprenticeship program is of a 12- month program where 4 individuals with no IT work experience are trained to become Linux and Windows systems administrators. Developed content for curriculum, managed early in career talent and reported results to leadership. After 3 years of the programs existence, there is a 100% success rate with each Apprentices being hired in as full-time employees within T-Mobile.Position provides a high level of visibility with Executive Team and demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with the business and stakeholders. Previously responsibilities:Manager IT Operations Support - Windows Tier 2 Manage a Team of 5 FTE and 12 Offshore Contract employees responsible for maintaining approximately 25,000 Windows based servers and the respective hardware within T-Mobile organization. Manager IT Operations BackupsLead a Team 9 to maintain the corporate backups system for all Servers as well as the Avamar Client Laptop Backup Solution. Responsibilities included regular maintenance, cleanup, and backup verifications to ensure all systems are working properly and our systems are protected.Manage UNIX Support Team, SAN Support and Backup Support Team and VM Ware Support under the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Operations Support GroupResponsible for the Management, Evaluation and Implementation of best practices, software tools, server patches, Symantec SEP, HP OVO and HP Server Automation (Opsware), OS.
