Senior Strategist, Prospect Research And Management
CurrentThe University of Montana Foundation raises philanthropic contributions in order to improve the quality and expand the opportunities available at the University of Montana. Responsible for providing prospect identification, prospect research, portfolio management, and related prospect research and management services to specific fundraising units. Enable data-driven decision-making through reporting and data analyses to solicit and nurture donor relationships:• Proactively identifies prospects and assists in developing methods to identify and segment the most promising prospects• Prepare comprehensive profiles on individual major and principal gift prospects and donors which provide concise biographical data, financial/net worth analysis, philanthropic capacity ratings, and an overall assessment of a potential or current prospect’s inclination to make a major gift to the University• Collaborate and meet with development staff to develop, prioritize, and manage prospect portfoliosthroughout the year, serving as the primary point of contact to select Directors of Development• Partner with Directors of Development to track their progress toward goals, as well as identify and use tools such as LexisNexis, iWave, ResearchPoint, Wealth-X, DonorSearch, and Microsoft Dynamics to help improve their ability to solicit contributions• Compile quantitative and qualitative information about the performance of Directors of Development and their portfolios• Proficient in creating customized dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics, utilizing advanced finds to tailor data visualization and optimize user experience• Actively involved in collaborating with team members to develop and implement processes and policies for effective utilization of the CRM system across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enhancing overall efficiency
