I decided to take a career break and walk the 500+ mile Camino De Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain. During this time I also got my real estate license and became a licensed drone pilot.

Centralized interface status – Studied all interfaces and determined potential errors in order to create single snapshot view of interface communication, error management and links to possible user resolutions for both internal and external customers.Managed successful proof of concept – Designed new way of aggregating data to 3rd party systems in order to generate additional business and prove concept to large potential customer.Standardized integration – Led initiative to centralize serial integration to a single intermediary vendor in order to decrease development, implementation and support overhead and increase total number of service systems that can be connected. Requirements Gathering and Analysis – Analyze business and technical requirements using XML, JSON, SQL, etc., to create functional specifications that include use case diagrams, flowcharts and other technical specifications, which assist with the communication between developers, product managers, architects and customers.Educate team members – As Senior member of the team I on-boarded new team members, held technical and business trainings during weekly meetings, and documented workflows.

Managed development of eCommerce reservation system - Gathered customer requirements, analyzed feedback, proofed wireframe mockups and implemented BETA site. Improved project effectiveness - Delivered successful on-time release of all projects, including saving company 2000+ man hours on single project with zero functionality loss, pinpointing core product behavior and XML messages with similar functionality, allowing for more sales driven development initiatives to be added to release.Improved project efficiency - Streamlined customer feedback mechanisms, business requirement, functional specification documentation, and interface certification to reduce downtime between projects and maximize utilization development resources.Project Management - Direct multiple teams from varied functional disciplines through full development lifecycle on all large scale and high profile projects, coordinating goals and schedules with management to most effectively utilize resources, using agile methodologies where possible.Product Management - Vet product backlog of future enhancements and balance customer requirements against company objectives.
