In TUAS a co-op was formed with 30 students to generate additional, personal income out of their own work experience with little bureaucracy and acquired skillsMy duty as the chairman of the board was to keep members of the board motivated and in line.Eventually the co-op was shut down due to graduations, real jobs from the industry for all parties and lack of interest to keep the co-op going.

• Worked as a design engineer trainee by planning the yearly maintenance of a CHP power plant • Tasks included the inspection of the power plant, making sure all work is done before the startup, work supervision and engineering in the mechanical division of the design team.

I spent four months in summer to earn and learn in the local electricity company’s subsidiary, which handles the distant heating system of Tampere. The network runs under Tampere, Ylöjärvi and Pirkkala. My job was to maintain it, cutting off and turning on the steaming water flow whenever necessary. I also did some maintaining on the distant cooling system.

My first job was in a factory where I worked in a QA unit maintaining a device which checks every single rifle cartridge for errors.
